Fitted in 2 mins (don’t forget the loctite). Does make the bike stand up a bit more on hard ground but essential on soft ground. It’s a heavy bike so why BMW would fit a side stand foot the size of a 50p piece I’ve no idea.

A simple, quality product that gives additional piece of mind when parking on softer ground / tarmac in warmer weather. It does reduce the amount of bike lean when the side stand is used, so this needs to be taken into consideration when parking.

Well made stand that fits well and does it’s job well. As another reviewer has stated the front of the stand does touch the ground on enthusiastic cornering!

It's not advertised as fitting the R1250RS, but I can confirm it fits fine (the side stand on the RS looks exactly the same as that on the R). It does what it says on the tin.

I had one of these on my 1150 rs and found it to be excellent . my new bike has a long narrow stand and definitely needs one holds the bike frim It is well clear when stand is not in use.good service from NN

Easy fit and does the job of providing larger surface area for the stand. HOWEVER, it scrapes (before the foot pegs did) on any serious left hand cornering.

This item cannot fit perfectly because of the shape of SW motech gear Lever I put on. The item which is so designed would stuck either the downshift or upshift of the gear Lever unless I put back the stock Lever, then it just work perfect.
