Reviews of Wunderlich Sports screen - R1200R LC (tint)

Having had buffeting issues with lots of screens on other makes of bikes, I was a bit sceptical of how this screen would work. Other than a bit of bother with the holes not lining up properly to the BMW original screen mount (a bit of filing required), once on and tested I’m really happy with it. The air pressure if off my chest, and I can feel it over the shoulders and around the neck area. A little noisier than without the screen, but minimal buffeting, and only from 70mph, anything under that is buffet free. I wear earplugs anyway so for me the increase in noise is offset by the benefit of the reduction in wind blast. 5ft 9 with a Shoei Neotech 2.

Purchased bike with touring screen, the sport screen work well, some air clipping shoulders and head but it’s taken the pressure off my chest . Quick and easy fit

The bike came with the higher Wunderlich Touring clear touring screen. This seemed to create severe buffeting also spoiled the look of the bike IMO. I've swapped to the tinted Sports screen which fits on the same mountings and it's really reduced the buffeting (clean air) but still gives decent protection, it's also much more in keeping with the sporty roadster look.

Looks great and fits really well. If you fit this you’ll notice less wind on your mid/upper body but a little buffeting around the head area due to the ‘dirty’ air being projected off the screen.. It’s a trade off I guess!

Looks great on the bike, takes enough wind blast off you for siting at 85mph on the motorway
