Reviews of Wunderlich Marathon screen R1300R (TINT) WITH SCREEN HOLDER INCLUDED

Not Acceptable Wind Noise Peter J Stubbs on Sep 24, 2026

Rating: 5

I fitted the screen today (quite easy) to my bike and took it for a quick test ride. I was very disappointed with the levels of low frequency wind noise and buffeting the screen generates. Previously I had a R12 NineT and fitted a small Puig screen, and that was really good at protecting me and generating smooth air. So I was very surprised at how bad this screen is. For me it is not acceptable and I have returned it for a refund. NN SAYS HAPPY TO REFUND PETER Due to variations in rider height, physique, helmets, seat position, seat height, riding posture, and gear, no one can guarantee that a particular screen (or spoiler attachment) is the right choice or that it will eliminate turbulence and wind noise. It is impossible to provide truly definitive advice based solely on these rider specifications. Although we have sold thousands of screens and spoiler attachments—and would love to offer a recommendation—we want to remain honest and realistic. A different helmet alone can determine whether a windshield works well or not; every rider sits slightly differently on the bike (leaning forward or back, sitting upright with a straight back, etc.); and, not least, everyone perceives the wind differently. These are genuine insights based on my own experiences with motorcycles.
