Not sure what shape people developed the XR but I had to seriously think about finding the rear brake pedal when i needed it. The enlarger is just perfect, for me. The pedal is where my foot expects it to be. Beautifully made. Great service from NN.

Great addition to the bike. My foot slipped off the rear brake a few times when controlling the bike at low speed, which meant a grab on the front brake to stop. This then unsettled the balance of the bike, especially fully loaded, leading to undignified paddling of feet as I am on tiptoes to start with!! Anyway it looks like I wasn’t the only one with this problem and thankfully Wunderlich make this quality addition that looks very ‘factory’ and not an ‘add on’. It has a recess underneath which is perfectly machined to the shape of the existing pedal, and then a plate with three bolts fastened from underneath sandwiches the whole thing together. Very pleased and would recommend as it gives much more confidence that the pedal will be there when you need it.

This extender Wun-35450-001 which is for the K1600GT(not GTL) fits my 2020 XR almost perfectly. With a tiny bit of filing perfectly.

Nicely made and easy to fit with a few trial runs! Makes a big difference especially in the wet when it was almost impossible to apply any pressure to the original pedal without slipping off.

Easily fitted, looks fine and stops having to search for the pedal. I'm 6ft size 9, and had a few moments when my heart skipped a beat not finding the brake right away. So much better.

Needed this as my big feet didn't go well with the small standard pedal. Solid piece of kit easily fitted BUT only 2 of the 3 bolts supplied were the correct size, the odd one being a small self tapping screw, for the cost of this item I don't expect to have to hunt around for items to be able to fit it.

Works very well and gives firmer control when using rear brake. Easily fitted. Expensive but well made. BMW could have taken a sensible view on this and made the brake pedal larger.

This neat pedal extender enables easier use of the XR footbrake, particularly important when if - like me - you have fitted lowered footpegs too. Quality kit like this inevitably costs, but - as in this case - you clearly get what you pay for: Excellence!
