This is the beast!
Enables you to rotate your motorcycle up to 360 degrees by placing the centre stand of your bike on the treadplate of the turntable.
Very useful if your bike is kept in a confined space.
We have developed this turntable after years of struggling to find a robust and effective one on the market.
The turntable uses a fully serviceable 46cm diameter ball bearing race on the outside and has a 42cm diameter tread plate platform.
Heat treated replaceable feet keep the solid base off the floor so minor irregularities are not a problem. Overall height only 25mm so lifting your bike onto the stand is straight forward.
TOP FEATURE
Easy maintenance - the heavy duty steel bearings are easily accessible when a grub screw is removed for easy lubrication with multipurpose grease .
Check the width of your centre stand before ordering but in truth there are not many bikes that this stand will not accommodate. We use these in our own workshop, where they see very heavy use under BMW's heaviest bikes such as the K1600GT.
NOTES on bikes with AVHC fitted.
R1300GS and other models with AVHC (adaptive vehicle height control :
We've sold a plenty of these for R1300 series models with AVHC. We've not had any issues reported to us of compatibility issues with models with the height adjustability.
We suggest putting the AVHC in the tallest setting.
FURTHER FEEDBACK FROM A CUSTOMER:
Feedback for you in case anyone else has issue
Previously I had my suspension settings to 'Dynamic' for the Shock Absorber, and 'Automatic' for the Spring.
This has the effect of lowering the rear suspension (feet flat on the ground) which made it difficult / impossible for me (especially if luggage loaded) to physically lift the rear onto the centre stand with the turntable in place.
However - If you set the Shock Absorber suspension to 'ROAD' and the Spring setting to 'MAX via the handlebar - then it holds the raised suspension when parked up, & hey-presto - it's now easy to lift the bike onto the turntable! Job done. No need for a ramp - just means I have to remember to re-set the above suspension settings before garaging the bike.
