Fits really great .looks great. The only minor is the black colour is slightly different .easy to fit .i have not used in the rain yet so not sure about keeping the legs dry.

Functional but just crazy expensive stewart armitage on Apr 24, 2021

Nice simple product that fits well and does the required job in keeping your backside dry. Sadly an aftermarket hugger doesn't achieve this. The panels look pleasant but really are just way too expensive for 6 elastic bands, 2 bolts and a bit of moulded ABS. I'm sure this must cost around £300 to produce.

Good quality if a bit expensive. Looks good and keeps dirt at bay.

Great product and it makes the bike look more finished. However, the left hand side panel covers the 12v socket so you cannot access it once the panel is fitted. This is not mentioned the the description at all. My old GS side panels from Wunderlich had a cut out for access, but not these. NIPPY NORMANS SAYS Many of your model do not have the DIN socket in that place hence the omission on the side panels

Being new and given how these fit, I wasn't too sure how these might fit, given I have both a Mud Sling and OEM Frame Covers fitted - but they did without any modification needed and have to say they really look the part, matching in very nicely with the standard battery and gear change covers to finish off the dies. Only thing I found (and it didn't tell you this is the instructions) was that one had to remove the standard plastic cover over the gear change rod on the nearside. Whether this was because I have the OEM optional frame covers on my R1250GS I'm not sure, but even if not, I think it would be tight, so I would recommend anyone buying these side covers just to remove the gearchange cover (the side covers cover it just the same once fitted. Very happy with the end result, look the business!
