The single biggest criticism of the RT range is the poor rear visibility. Though the original mirrors are well placed to provide wind protection, they are not in the optimal spot for a clear view of what is behind you.
The easy and very popular solution for the R1200RT LC and R1250RT is to fit these clamps (the pacl contains a pair) and our Ergo mirror part number WUN-23640-000 (sold as singles)
The Ergo mirrors have a unique angular shape that compliments the lines of the RT. Additionally, they are length and angle adjustable so that you can achieve the optimal position and avoid knocking the windscreen.
Buy 2 adaptors and 2 mirrors if you wish to transform both sides of the bike.
