Unfortunately this is not as described on the NN website . " For all R NineT with individual seats or separately acquired Wunderlich fenders “Enduro – part numbers beginning WUN-27761 " This rack is for an R Nine T that still has the pillion sub frame fitted and so there are cut outs to fit around the frame plate . Without the sub frame there are big gaps where you can see the wiring below and will also let a LOT of water into this area . I believe Wunderlich do or did sell a rack specifically for for this situation . I did not return the item as I viewed it as a bit of a challenge so I made a rubber cover to fit under the rack and also made some new spacers to make the rack fit better . All in all this is NOT the rack you need if you do not have the pillion sub frame fitted . In this situation you need Part No. 31742-402 if it is still available . NN SAYS Apologies for the confusion Philip - we can still at this late stage take the product back for a refund.

This rack is of great quality, looks good on the bike and very useful obviously. The one thing I would personally change is the path for water to rear wiring loom the fitment creates. This is a minor issue and easy to fix. I have also added fixed Kriega bag anchor straps between the base and rack, which makes for a much more secure load.
