I bought this to go with a tail tidy kit (rear light relocation kit). Its easy to fit and works well. The only aspect I didn't care for was cutting into the factory wiring for the number plate light as that just seemed of amateurish. I ended up buying a BMW wiring adapter socket 80000611656 this plugs into a spare plug under the tank. The only drawback is this is canbus powered so the power stays on for sixty seconds after the power is shut of.

Already had an R&G tail tidy but wanted to fit the plate lower down, spent an age deciding wether to mount it behind the wheel or off to the side. In the end got this Wunderlich side mount which looks fantastic, is easy to fit and great quality. My only gripe is the plate is designed to be bolted on (for the German metal plates) so I had to play around with the bolts for the light mount to allow the plate to be stuck on. Really pleased that I chose this plate holder!
