This was bought so that the satnav could be moved forward and avoided the tank bag. However, if it is used in the folded position the thumb wing nuts cannot tighten the satnav sufficiently to prevent it moving. Also the wing nut arrangement make it an easy security target for removal. Item returned

I bought this as a cheaper alternative to the screen mounted item which does not appear to work well with bar risers. This one works very well. It modifies the original BMW mount which is in a silly position and quite possibly dangerous as-is. With the mount you can easily find a good viewing angle and it doesn't hide any of the instrumentation so it tidies things up and gives a safer position. I don't use a tank bag but if you had one of those then it would peep up over the top and should work well for that also.

This satnav bracket also fits the Navigator Street mount as used on the F800GT. The 12mm diameter bar used on the BMW mount is the same size and diameter. The power cable is long enough to reach - just!

Good mount once fitted, however the screws to the mount were sent set up wrong. Couple of adjustments and it holds it steady with only a little vibration.

This extension mont lifts the sat nav up so you can see it better without looking down which is dangerous!

The navigation mount is fairly straightforward to fit, though setting up/adjusting was a bit of a fiddle. My only complaint is that the 2 fasteners supplied were supplied with incorrectly produced nuts and I had to replace with correct items I had available from my own stock. Not good!
