If the knee angle of the original GS is too narrow and uncomfortable in the long run, we recommend our »VARIO« footrest system »EVO« 1. With the well thought-out VARIO system, the footrests can be individually adjusted vertically and horizontally and lowered by 23-50 mm depending on the adapter selected. This creates a relaxed and comfortable knee angle.
It is important to remember that stepping on the brake pedal is always intuitive. The brake pedal and its spatial arrangement in relation to the footrest simply has to fit. So if you use the variable system to lower the footrests to increase the knee angle, we definitely recommend our matching foot brake lever lowering. Because if you move the footrest down, the brake pedal is inevitably positioned too high. Our foot brake lever lowering provides the necessary adjustment by lowering the foot brake lever as well. For this we use a stainless steel adapter with which we lower the stop of the foot pedal by approx. 12 mm. This means that the ergonomics between the footrest and the brake lever are correct again. And this small measure increases passive safety.
