Call me paranoid but the OE oil filler plug on the boxers is a little too vulnerable to either being stolen, or having some scumbag taking it off and pouring whatever into your engine. The replacement locking plug ensures a bit more security. Supplied rubber o-ring replaces the OE item and the plug fits snugly. Seems nicely made, although a little pricey for what it is. Cheaper than a new engine though.
