Ordered Matt (deliberately as I have matt grey panniers) got sent gloss. Disappointingly when I called Nippy Norman, I was told 'supplier no longer does matt so we just send gloss'. Why list matt as available on the site then? Was advised to fit and see what I felt about it. Fitted OK and I know from previous panniers that some form of protection is required but not exactly happy with the 1/2 gloss/matt look of my new panniers now. Will be fine on gloss panniers however!

I could not find any 3m ventureshield film cut to size for the S1000xr panniers anywhere, so I thought I Would try this. The picture shows most of the top part of both sides of 1 pannier covered. But in reality, only 1 of these sides is painted. Fortunately, the other side can be used for the second pannier. In this way you can cover most of the upper parts of 2 Panniers for £30,which is good value. The film was reasonably easy to apply. Avoid folding any part as this leaves a mark which you can't get out. The film doesn't seem to be stretchable like Ventureshield and I don't know how the protection compares. Finish is good. Overall 4 out of 5 stars. Good value, but not all of the pannier is protected.
