Does what it says on the tin but I now wonder if it would have been neater to abandon the BMW mount altogether? That said, Nippy Norman was very nippy and spot on!!

Repositioning of the sat nav makes riding much easier and more importantly safer as you don’t have to look down to see your route. Should be the position from new. A very useful accessory.

I used this to mount my Tomtom rider instead of the overpriced BMW navigator! So straightforward and simple it’s amazing I hadn’t used one before!

Looking to adapt my Tom Tom to fit my BMW, i found this after much looking for a way. The bracket is well made and uses the original BMW satnav bracket mount to clip into (would also fit the Garmin Zumo brackets), as mine lockable then the bracket locks in place and as i have a Touratech lockable anti vibration mount for my tom tom it also locks the nav in place. Personally i would like a couple of changes I.E. an electrical pickup so that another satnav can use the original power being supplied to the BMW satnav and if the placed a bracing bar between the bend of the bracket it would make it even more secure but this is me over engineering things. So to summarise this is a great adaptor for the price and if they’d like to speak with me regarding the power situation then i won’t charge too much to make this even better. Go get one you won’t regret your purchase.

Unfortunately one of the reviews said that the media wasn’t large enough for an iPhone X, so I bought a holder with a Ram Mount (Bike Console) and used that instead. Had to drill a couple of extra holes so I could do away with the 1” Ram Ball mount and it works fine. It used it in anger yet but so looking forward to using Google Maps instead of the crappy Nav 5!! Would be 5 stars if the mount had holes to take generic mounts.
