I bought a pair of these Denali DM 2.0 spot lights for my RS to increase daytime visibility (the single LED DLR on the RS is not the most noticeable) and to improve the poor headlight performance on unlit roads. I didn’t want my RS to look like some Mad Max modded machine - giant spots that suit a GS would look very out of place - so I chose the smallest lights Denali make. Don’t mistake size for brightness - they are still the same 10w LED source, just with a smaller reflector so the throw isn’t as great. They are super bright - 50% intensity in daylight is more than enough to be really noticeable from the front. At 30% intensity on dipped beams they illuminate the road surface and edges well and the white light shows details not visible from the halogen headlight. On full beam they are set to 100% which provides such a massive improvement to the bikes headlight, although it is nowhere near as good as my wife’s MINI’s LED headlights on full beam - to match those I’d need the bigger spots from Denali’s range and a GS to mount them on! But for my commute they are a vast improvement. I made my own black nylon spacers and bought some 60mm long stainless steel bolts to mount them just where I wanted - much cheaper than Denalis £45 spacer kit! I bought a Hex EZCAN and cables bundle (great value) so the lights were plug and play with the bike’s existing switchgear and sensors. The only issue with installation is the bulky size of the 3-pin connectors - they require more stripping down of the bike to feed them through the bodywork and frame. The build quality of the lights is excellent (as one would expect for the price) and they are definitely waterproof having recently ridden through biblical rainfall with no issues.

Have bought two sets of Denali spotlights and they are well made and easy to fit. They give a good beam of light and when connected to the Denali canbus system work with the bikes systems easily.
