Really well made. Accurate machining. not cheap, but this is a buy once item, and relieves the stress of leaving my commuter bike in London all day safe in the knowledge the TFT screen will not disappear. If I had the same screen on my R1200GS, then I'd certainly get a second one. Quality item

easy install.. the stick on padding neoprene is not long enough (320mm).. the video actually has more of it round the inside of the bracket.. I made do with the 320mm by using less all around. other than that.. all good. The brace is pretty much just held in place with 4 screws.. which are easily accessible.. it really is not adding too much extra protection for the tft.

Anti theft device looks great but when i came to order a Wunderlich sat nav bracket i was told you can only have 1 or the other, how dissapointing! I did notice a customer in the above comments has found a suitable sat nav bracket, would be great service if Nippys can help.

The protector works ok with a standard screen but not with the Higher Screen NN sells 😡😡 NIPPY SAYS The higher screen was the Givi higher screen part number - GIV-D5127ST. Sometimes it is hard to know all the different compatibility issues but we offered to take the screen back for a full refund.

Very clear precise instructions easy to fit most fiddly part having to cut the neoprene pads in half before cutting to size. Does what it says on the tin prevents opportunistic thieves and looks good

Fitting was relatively easy (there’s a useful YouTube video if you’re not sure). That’s despite the fact I have a high level satnav bracket and 1” screen spacers on the same mounting point. It’s a good fit around the screen with neoprene pads to protect it and doesn’t appear to apply any undue pressure. My only concern is the actual screen brace is secured at the sides by 4 hex bolts which would be easy to remove if you have the correct size so this would only delay theft by a couple of minutes. I’d have preferred a more unusual security style bolt head to lower the risk. Should stop casual theft.

Good piece of kit, only thing extra that would be good if the Alan bolds had a security nipple as well. The unit is only going to add time to a thief removal of the TFT screen. All in all a good product
