The flap jamming is a common problem and I got bored of loosening it up and playing around with copper grease to keep it going as the stickiness got worse. Enter Healtech that basically allows you to remove the servo and put an electronic gadget in place that tells the bike all is good. An easy fit where my only dilemma was where to strap up the remaining connectors where they are reasonably protected from the firing line of road dirt, water etc down by your boots. Presently, they're zip-tied to the inside of the frame, but not 100% thats an ideal place yet. Perhaps putting the servo back on, but disconnected could shield it all? It's not actually that heavy. Think it's okay now and no warnings. The only difference I have noticed is a little louder at cold start fast idle. The flap only appears to deploy at certain load / rev combos, so in day to day use, I can't say I have really noticed much difference. Just ensure it's at the resting (open) position before fitting as I reckon it won't be long be long before it's locked solid.

This little electronic gizmo woks a treat. Assuming you are able to open up the sticking exhaust valve in the manifold - detain the cables from the servo or remove the servo completely and this plug in then replaces the mechanical unit giving perfect performance. After 2 or 3 runs the engine management re-sets itself and the engine management light goes off too. Great value!

Great little device to stop the valve seizing issues which cause warning lights etc. I took the servo off and fitted this which also gives a more deep tone to the exhaust note. Great service from Nippy Norman’s and cheapest around ! 👍

Excellent device, easily fitted, great service from NN. Removes the risk of sudden failure of the servo. Barely perceptible difference to the exhaust sound. No difference to bike performance. Just Do It!

Adds a little bass to stock or aftermarket can but certainly not enough to cause offence . Well worth the price if that`s what you`re after and straighforward easy fit. Excellent service from Nippy as ever.
