I have the standard seat and 28” inside leg. This is a simple way to reduce the seat height and helps with manoeuvring the bike whilst sitting on it. Quite pricey but worth it. Alternative is the expense of the narrow seat but reduced comfort.

Having purchased a 2017 BMW R1200RT last year, it became apparent that the seat height was a bit too high for my legs causing me to struggle on cambered roads surfaces.Nippy Normans sell a seat lowering kit which is a lot cheaper than changing the seat and this easily fitted kit lowers the seat by about 10mm which has improved my position and can place both feet firmly on the road. Definitely would recommend this kit.

Not impressed. No real noticeable seat lowering and only to the font of the seat. Expensive for just two rubber bungs. Not tried on a long run yet but will prob have a detrimental effect on comfort.

The effect obtained when fitting this lowering kit is it lowers only the front of the seat. This unfortunately tilts the seat at such an angle that ones Crown Jewels end up being pressed against the tank with little benefit gained in the way of extra footing on the ground. Very uncomfortable and unsatisfactory especially if you ride high mileage days.

So simple but made all the difference. Was fine one up without, but doing a 2000 mile tour with the wife and luggage meant I could get both feet flat at all times and helps when manoeuvring on cobbles etc.

Not really any benefit as only lowers the seat slightly. When fitted leaves an unsightly gap between tank and seat looks a bit odd to me.

This little item has made such a differance to riding the GS. I would not have expected 1cm lower to make such a differance to handling but also massive improvement in confidence. I am 5ft8 with 30 inch inseam. I would absolutly recommend this item for anyone height challenged like me.

I deliberated long and hard over this. The identical thing is £5 on eBay from loads of sellers, but with long shipping times as coming from China. In the end I paid 5 times that from Nippy believing I’d be buying better quality.
I was wrong. Although completely functional, the 2 Bubb’s were different finishes (one smooth and shiny, the other slightly rough and dull). They did come in a Wunderlich box, but no doubt they were made in the same factory in China as the eBay items.
I used them, they do what they are supposed to, but it’s not worth the premium buying from here unless you need them in an urgent hurry and can’t wait the shipping time.

This product has really impressed me ,I thought it would be one of those take the frame to pieces,swap out seats kind of things, But no ,two bobbins with eccentric holes ,seat off swoop existing bobbins with the new ones ,seat back on ,15 mins Topps and that's if you have a brew as well lol.Works fine for me just lowered enough to be comfortable .

This was so simple I fixed it myself! not saying much as you pull off the old bit and shove on the new ones. They work because they have a flat edge which sits the seat a bit lower. Not a massive difference but definitely helpful. And it doesn't seem to alter the balance of where I sit on the seat which is great

Everyone seem to focus on these little rubbers to lower your seat. Let me say if you wind the cam to the top it also higher the seatbyb10mm. This is great it stops me sliding into tank. Around my nuts:-) greatbvalue ans so simple recommend them..

Simple but effective. Very clever redesign of these rubber bungd and very impressive. Fitted in seconds and although the front of the seat is marginally lower, it does make a difference increasing stability when stopped and negotiating junctions.

I bought a Wunderlich heated seat, which seems a little wider than standard, and made it more difficult to reach the ground. This great little accessory is fitted in minutes, and brought my feet back, almost flat on the ground. It’s only a small improvement, but it all helps.

The bungs definitely lowered seat height as is claimed . However, this altered the angle of the seat. ( a Sargent) and made the journey up to Yorkshire from the south coast quite uncomfortable . I put the normal ones back on for the return journey.

The kit is clever. However, for just pieces rubber it's way too expensive. That said I think I wasted my money anyway. i tried them and what they do is to tilt the seat downwards towards the tank making you slide forward. You'd be far better swallowing the expense and buying a lowered seat.

Simple easy way to drop seat height. I suffer from a 29" inside leg. From my first GSA in 2006 I've always been on the lowest height setting and even moved to Moto-X boots for that little extra. With the advent of electronic suspension the 2 up setting brought greater altitude problems but this lowering kit has brought things back to a more reasonable level. Would recommend to any one else who is vertically challenged in the leg department. 10mm doesn't sound much but it does feel a lot better

Needed to find a cheap way of lowering the seat of my GS a bit. Whilst the kit doesn't lower the seat a huge amount it does lower it enough to make a difference. Instead of just the balls of my feet being on the floor I can pretty much put my feet flat. However, it does make the seat slant forwards slightly, as it only lowers the front of the seat. It will take some time to see if that affects the comfort on longer distances.
