I bought these to protect my bike from any potential mishaps, while they are more expensive than some others they were easy to fit and do not require the fairing to be cut. The instructions were excellent providing the torque settings required, furthermore there was even a small tube of locktite in the fitting pack which was a nice surprise. They look as they will offer good protection should the need arise fortunately they haven't been tested. Cosmetically they look great and do not spoil the look of the bike, plus the quality is top notch, fully recommended
