The similar item I had with my GS so whenever I need rear brake it was a bit difficult to find on my XR so I would recommend it.

Really pleased with this as it is the one fault I have found with the S1000XR I either miss the brake leaver altogether or put my foot on the brake leaver arm, this has certainly cured my issues and so simple to fit.
