The RS is a great fit for those, like me, who find the GS a bit big and heavy. I put up and back risers on initially and that was more comfortable than the standard set up but these bars are a huge improvement and I don’t need the risers with them. The bars completely transform the comfort; for me it was less about shoulder ache than the rather awkward bend at the waist that the original bars involved. The new bars decrease that angle and sit me on the saddle in a better position. Arms are also at a more natural width apart. Highly recommended, but you’ll probably need to then buy mirror extensions, which only Hornig seem to make.

Ordered the Wunderlich handlebar replacement for the R1200RS LC. Very, very expensive for what is basically a handlebar, typically overpriced Wunderlich item, but BMW's own version is just as expensive. Not Nippy Normans fault as they just re-sell it on. As usual, good efficient service from NN.

Brilliant quality item, easy to fit. Transforms the comfort and handling of the bike. Far easier to hustle round tighter curvy roads now. Definitely recommended!
