Instructions (photographic) were okay, but I found a second pair of hands useful for fixing the altered routing of brake pipes behind fairing and for holding handlebar rests in position when tightening to specified torque. Otherwise everything else easy and have tried out new handlebar position and makes a positive difference. Thanks !

Very nicely made piece of kit. Patience and care make fitting easier and can be fitted without removing any fairing panels. The resulting improvement in riding position is surprisingly beneficial in reducing loads on arms wrists etc.

The parts are of good quality and fit well. For this job, examine the pictorial instructions closely; it is necessary to move a brake pipe, which can be done without disconnecting the brake pipes; but needs close attention to the instructions. End result is a more comfortable ride position

The risers are an excellent fit & are a good colour match also the fitting kit is very good quality, but fitting the new brake hose bracket is fiddly with the GT having a fairing but overall a great product.

Instructions don't show how much more fiddly these are to fit to the GT. It was really tight behind the fairing trying to fit the replacement bracket for the brake hose and trying to get the brake caliper around the pipework. Had to adjust the orientation of the bars and levers a bit but worth it. The riding position is now just right and I'll swear it handles better.

These risers come with good instruction but it's only when you start the fitting procedure that you fully understand the instructions, fiddley to fit but achievable, gives a more relaxed riding position.

Pretty easy to fit, anyone with knowledge of how to use a torque wrench and a set of sockets and torx heads will manage it fine. I can confirm that everything you need apart from tools is present in the kit. The instructions are pretty clear though there was occasionally a bit of back-and-forth with the brake cable routing.
Looks and feels like OEM kit, does exactly what it says on the tin. For me (5'10", 33" inseam) it lets me sit pretty much bolt upright but still allows me good control when leaning forward to press on.

A good product, relatively easy to fit, just a little fiddly. I marked the handlebar position with masking tape first and used towels for protection. The riding position is so much more comfortable. You would not believe how just 20 mm makes such a difference. I can thoroughly recommend this product.

Although they only raise the bars by 20mm, it makes a big difference to the weight on your wrists. Like all Wunderlich products they are expensive but are well made. Guess you get what you pay for!!
The fitting instructions were good and you definitely do need to modify the brake hose alignment with the bracket and screw provided.
Overall first class!!

The installation leaflets were for a BMW F650/800 GS (Twin ) ?
The leaflet had written instructions for the handle bar risers but not for the brake manifold mounting , the photo images did not look like my bike which is a 2017 F800GT !

The instructions are good and these are quite straightforward to fit as long as you take your time. There is no need to remove any fairing and you can easily reach the lower bracket fitting from on top of the bike as well as below. I would suggest you use towels or similar to protect plastics and tape to mark position of handlebar and brake lever to assist re-fitting. DO NOT use hex/allen keys but the torx type as standard on the bike. Yet to see the difference they make on a long trip.

Okay so not a 5 minute job to fit but not rocket science. These have made a real difference both when touring and manoeuvring (I found I trapped my thumbs on full lock). Another bonus is that they lift up the satnav and make it easier to see over my tankbag.

After getting the brake pipes rerouted the only difficulty was to keep the handlebar clamps lined up as with a single bolt fixing there was a tendency for the mounts to rotate when tightening them. With care, it works and the result is very worthwhile, and good value for money!

Easy instructions, and straight forward fitment. Makes a difference to my back on long trips. I have a non-standard Givi higher screen fitted, and you need to be conscious of handlebars/control levers banging when on full lock.

The bar risers have improved rideability and are much more comfortable on long runs. However, the brake line position modifications were not easy to make so it is not a five minute job to fit them.

This Wunderlich HB riser kit does indeed provide you with all you need, and on my 2014 F800GT there was no need to modify the Brake cables... just use the supplied 'presenter' Bracket which places the Brake Cable attachment 20 or so mm higher, as you would expect.
The instruction sheet is good, although a few extra words of encouragement would have helped with the tricky re-routing of the Cable down to the RH Calliper.
I did this part first, just to be sure that the whole arrangement would work!
I also placed pieces of tape on the Handle bar/brake and the yokes, and put a 'timing mark' on them... this was to ensure that I put the whole thing back as it all was.
Note well, you will need to take the RH Fairing off, and disconnect the indicator, you will also need hex (Allen) keys to tighten the supplied replacement screws!
I still give 5 stars because of Nippy Normans service, and although the new seating position isn't massively different, it's definitely better because it 'unloads' your wrists... so maybe the improved handling comes as a result of a more relaxed ride.

The product quality is very good. Instructions are better than most. The only issue on the F8GT is a fiddly brake hose relocation bracket. No fault to Wunderlich, the location area is difficult to access under the GT fairing. One nice feature of these risers is no brake hose extension is needed.
