Excellent protection film, easily applied - on the side fairings. The tank protector itself was a nightmare! The key is to make sure the film is warm (use a hairdryer to pre-warm the film if needed, and apply in a warm garage etc). Use lots of the water from the spray bottle provided (use the bottle provided as it comes with the right ratio of soap in it already). Take your time and follow the instructions. Be patient and don’t rush. I have extensive experience applying stickers and wraps, but really struggled with the actual tank protection film - I don’t believe the relief cuts are deep enough and the shape of the R1300RT tank means the ‘corners’ are steep, making application really difficult. NN were excellent in providing help, and sent a new replacement FoC set very quickly when I mentioned I’d struggled - sadly, the second attempt at install on the tank still isn’t perfect, but I’ll live with it. Final note - the film is essentially invisible on the side panels as they’re gloss. The tank of course ISNT gloss on the R1300RT’s, so the nice matt finish you have on the tank will be shiny after application. I wish this was matt film on the tank. Overall, disappointed in the tank film, very pleased with the side panels.NN service absolutely top class. NN SAYS Thanks for the feedback - plenty sold with no issues. Will look into the matt issue

Sadly I could not get anyone to "professionally" install it, so eventually tried myself and failed miserably. Whilst it may suit many, for me it was a disaster and sadly thrown in the bin. FTAOD, it does state that, unlike the GS, the RT version ought to be installed professionally - though I could not get two appropriate organisations to take up the challenge and so disaster struck.NN SAYS - WOULD YOU LIKE ANOTHER SET TO TRY - FREE OF CHARGE?

Fits very well. Make sure you follow the instructions as its a 'Wet Fit' film. They even supply a spray bottle. The film matches the sheen of the paint finish and is virtually invisible.
