I had one of these paralever sliders fitted to my R1250GS and it proved to be one of three contact points when the bike went down on its left hand side. Not only did the paralever slider prevent damage to the bevel box, it remained intact and still usable. So, it was an easy decision to fit another paralever slider to my current R1300GS. Hopefully this one will never be used in anger!

Bought these after reading that the factory fitted bars were vulnerable to folding under impact. They were an easy fit and appear solid. Hopefully will never need to test them, but definitely a “Belt and Braces” addition to the bike.

Bought this product after being done on EBay by someone pretending to sell Genuine ones. It was not.
Spoke to NN and they were excellent. I bought the genuine item from them. There was a small mark on it but the part was instantly replaced.
Wunderlich products are expensive but quality and you get what you pay for.
I can’t speak highly enough about NN. They are excellent and the customer service I receive is second to none.

Very simple Plug & Play Install. Having been rear ended recently, I can testify that whilst there is not much risk to your swing arm from a simple drop, anything more substantial requires protection and this does the Job really well

I had one of these on my R1200GS and thought it a useful safeguard against accidental damage so bought another for my R1250GS. It's very easy to fit in less than five minutes. I hope I never put it to the test but it must offer more protection than the rubber cover it replaces.

Buy this in conjunction with the crash bar protectors available seperately. Together they keep the bike off the floor giving you some peace of mind. Expensive outlay but worth every penny.

The first slider I received did not tighten correctly and the expander unit snapped.
Nippy Normans replaced the whole component in a week and the replacement was fitted in 5mins no problem.

I entered into the Taffy Dakar last month, so I had quite a few low speed crashes over the weekend. When I got home I noticed the protector was missing but thankfully no damage to my swing arm. So it did the job it was supposed to do and project my swing arm. Ive subsequently ordered a new one and have fitted it on, making sure the bolt is as tight as it can go. Good parts from Wunderlich, I also recommend the headlight protector, a lot of stones flying about when coming up behind riders on gravel tracks.

Quality product that takes minutes to fit that will protect shaft drive in the event of a drop , cost of this outweighs potential damage costs , its a no brainier to fit one .
