Looked at numerous extenders from different manufacturers and settled on this one as it looked very substantial and in keeping with the look of the bike. Liked the idea of not drilling into the original mudguard. This has clips that tighten onto the original fender and a locating tab so it centralises it nicely. Good quality and very easy to install. I would recommend it his product and the MCN article was spot on.

Fender extender fitted perfectly except for the ppf covering for the mudguard which is a complete pain in the arse to fit. All looks good and doesn't foul anything. Expensive but good

Perfect. Longer and wider than all the other alretantives I have seen (and used and had fall off!). Easy to fit and the perfect shape and size. Pricey but worth it.

Originally had one on my R1250 GS and now on the R1300 GSA. Helps protect the front of the engine and reduces spray, better than the guards where you need to remove bolts. Easy to fit and great quality

Had the same item on my R1250GS's for last 5 years
Saves all the crud going between the small gap and up the engine casing
Best of all it stop small pieces of stone from marking the same area
Done 600+ miles with this new one. Rock solid

I bought one of these previously for my 1250GS a it was so impressive that I have got the same for the 1300. It really does add protection for the front of the engine and bottom of the bike. Very easy to fit and looks great.

This Avante MachineArt is a great product, from its design to its perfect fit, it keeps a very high percentage of ‘crap’ off the from engine plate which is why I bought it, I had one on my 1250 previously, so I knew how good they are, easy as to fit too, no drilling, what’s not to like.

At Last ! a fender extender that does what it says on the tin. Extra length keeps most of the crud away from the engine. Highly recommended.
