This 3 piece Tank Pad Set is up to the usual Wunderlich high standard. Each piece has good thickness and density. The edges are finished nicely and they are perfectly shaped for the places they fit to. Make sure you add pressure and warmth to the centre Pad as the pronounced curve of the tank can make the top edge of the pad lift until it is completely stuck. My only slight criticism is that the lower pads could do with covering lower into the knee area as some riders may find their knees still scuffing the bikes panels.

A bit pricey, but worth it to protect the finish on the tank especially from zips and studs on jackets, and gives more grip for you knees. Quick and easy to fit

Good quality product, easy to fit and they look good too. The lower adhesive pad could do with being substantially larger so make sure you sit on the bike first and stick them where they're needed rather than just following the instructions.

The tank protector is good, but not quite big enough to protect the knee area on the side of the tank, it still gets scratched. The small knee area protectors could do with being twice the size.

Give excellent protection to the tank from your jacket and good grip for your knees. Make sure you position them where you make contact, don't just follow the illustration.

Not exactly cheap, but these fit the RT beautifully and appear to be part of the original machine. I bought them to improve grip on the tank during heavy braking and they do that well.

Do not adhere them as in the picture, you will find they are in the wrong place! Sit on the bike and see where your knees touch the tank and stick them there! The picture is neat but misleading.
