Looks good once fitted, but the mounting holes in the main bracket don't line up quite well enough for a premium priced bit of kit. Could easily have been designed to hold gps unit 25-30mm further forward and consequently reduce leverage on the mountings over bumps. Biggest gripe though is that it is painted steel and NOT ANODISED ALUMINIUM as stated in the description. False advertising just won't cut it when you are charging top dollar!

Bracket i though at first a bit dear but having used it for a 900 mile weekend it was perfect, sitting in a good eyeline which did not obscure the instruments in any way

When first offering up & applying the Black Reinforcing bracket from the kit I found it appeared not to fit !! BUT ... once laid in under the Instrument Panel Top 'Glare Prevention Cover Peak' above the Clocks ( the right way up ! ... it fitted like a glove. Especially as I used some of the sticky tape ( supplied ) around the bracket front hooks to avoid scratching the cover. I personally didn't find it necessary to remove the Wing Mirrors & clock surround front cover due to the bike being in the direct sunlight ( heated nicely softening up the plastic ) & being able to gently lift & install 2 Screwdriver rubber handles neatly under the front edge of the Glare cover raising it adequately to install the Bracket length ways. Awesome bit of kit now its installed. Solid as a rock !! ( Fitments time ... Allow 2 -- 4hours Don't 4get plenty of towels & or Anti Slip Mats over the whole of the Tank & H Bars to lay your tools on !

Never could use the the bottom bracket as it just didn't fit. Now a year later the bracket is just a rusty mess despite keeping the bike clean and garaged. I am in the process of stripping off all the paint and rust to re-coat it in hammerite. Hopefully this will do a better job than Wunderlich paint job.

I had to bend the bracket in several places to get it to fit properly. With this extra work it took me 4 hours to complete the task.

Just bought the high level mount for my nav6 , instructions are good but you have to look at them properly before fitting , took me 1hr from start to finish but that because I struggled to remove my mirrors , the mount itself is a brilliant bit of kit and highly recommend

There is now way that the support bracket fits under the the body work following the instructions. I even had a Motorrad mechanic look at it and he couldn't fix it in place squarely either. Eventually fitted the original capture nuts in place and fixed the top part to these and omitted the support bracket altogether. The company should re-evaluate whether this does fit my model as stated. They could send me a decent photo to show it fitted in place if I am wrong.

Brilliant mount, IMHO, it takes quite some time to fit, in my case about 4 hours, But when finished it looks as if it's 'Factory fitted' it's in the perfect position with plenty of adjustment, instructions are very clear and precise, an excellent job, very solid and no vibration, perfect. I also chose to purchase the Sat Nav lead so that my Garmin would be switched by the ignition, But I could not find the pre- existing socket in the wiring loom, So chose to wire directly to the battery, which is perfect for me, as the Sat Nav is not locked into the mount, and Is better placed in the 'glove box' or pannier, Happy days.

this is a well made bracket and fits perfectly. it is very sturdy and in a perfect viewing position you can do it by removing just one mirror and one side of the front facia, plus the other instructions supplied. used with the connection cable from here to connect to prewired bmw plug. very happy with the results.

Well-made product, but needed some modification (5mm cutting off the ends of the mounts) to stop the screen snagging it in the lowest position. Also with the Zumo 550 mounted the neutral light is obscured, even though there's plenty of room for the mount to be higher.

Top quality piece of kit which fits extremely well and holds my Garmin without a trace of vibration. Excellent instructions included with very useful photographs. Sat nav sits in front of the screen in a far better (and safer) position, virtually in your line of sight. Very pleased with the product.
