Very happy with these 'alternative' oil filters at a better price than oem bmw part. Strange when you see that the bmw part often has a small mahle inscription so I am confident to use these.

Original oil filter minus the BMW logo. Comes from Nippy Norman with sump bung washer. Totally confident fitting this filter. If doing it yourself take the time to fill the filter with fresh oil before fitting it and make sure the old gasket is not stuck on the engine and smear a drop of oil on the sealing ring and away you go!

Being discussed on the BMW R1200RS forum, all agree these are good oil filters and the OE BMW units are 'mahle branded' anyway so no need to spend £19 for a label, get the Mahle one from NN
