Usual good service from Nippy Normans. The protectors are really well made, they fit snugly with a small rubber strip built in to protect the paint. They look good on the bike, at a glance you wouldn't know it was an add on. Impressed with the youtube product video.

Easy to fit and look the part, brushed alloy is a nice touch and hole for Shift Cam letters exposed. Even comes with alloy polisher.
Expensive but look well made and should give a minimal protection.

These are a brilliant piece of kit, look amazing however be warned when fitting. You need to replace one of the cylinder head bolts but be careful about the torque setting. The instructions say 10nm but I tried that and snapped the bolt resulting in my new bike with 40 miles on the clock being taken back to the dealer to get the bolt drilled out.
I think now as it is a rubber oil seal on the bolt it is very difficult to get a precise torque setting so be careful.
NN SAY Wunderlich have tested this and the only reason this would happen is because dirt is lodged in the thread or the rubber collar has become dislodged (trapped) and even then a torque of 30 Nm would be needed to break the bolt. Hope this explanation helps.

Although these protectors are expensive they, in my opinion worth the extra cost.
I have fitted SW-MOTECH protectors on previous boxers and my son has MACHINEART ones on his, although these makes are very good, the WUNDERLICH versions have a more quality 'feel' about them.
They are very easy to fit and look like they 'belong' on the bike.
Plus the usual first class service from NN, a win win for me!

Very pleased with the quality of the covers - the fit is very accurate, there's a need to remove one of the bolts in the head, but with low torque settings (all listed) just be sure to follow the instructions and all will be fine - they look for too good for something that's supposed to be practical!

These Wunderlich head protectors appear to be very well made, robust and they fit well.
The instructions supplied are pretty clear and fitting is simple. The small torx bolts that fit under the head are a bit fiddly to align with the threaded holes already in the head however that's nothing to do with Wunderlich. They even supply anti-seize grease!
Overall, very pleased but, as I say, hopefully they will not be used!

The head protectors are very well made and fit perfectly. The instructions are clear and to follow and once fitted look great on the bike. They were delivered on the day promised and I was kept informed throughout the process.

Not a lot to say about these really other than they seem very well made, they look great on the bike and they’re very easy to fit. If you’re considering buying some protection for the cylinder heads, get these. I fitted these despite having the OEM BMW crash bars fitted, the more protection, the better.

Went for these head protectors rather than crash bars as I don't go off road. These look excellent on the bike and are very easy to fit. Hopefully not need to test their level of protection. The usual great service from Nippy Normans.
