Have uses the gear extension for a couple of months and have found it very useful with heavy duty boots, making the gear changes much slicker , especially with the quick shift

Just completed the Malle Rally UK, did 1500 miles on Rally and another 1000 getting to the start and home from the Finnish. The risers were a God send and enabled me to complete this adventure without any issues with mussel cramps or back ache. I was so chuffed I fitted them and would recommend them to any tall rider's

absolutely terrible. It does not stay put and spins round. I have tried everything to keep it in place and now have reverted back to the OEM.

It's simple and it works for my size 11s. Previous set of boots didn't fit my gear shifter and were damaged. Time will tell if my new boots last longer.

I’m very happy with this extender. The gear lever is super comfortable when wearing ordinary shoes/boots. Great but if kit and it just slipped on. Easy!

When the item arrived i thought it'd be too big to be practical, let alone be any kind of improvement.
I was wrong; gear selection has definitely improved, even with my size 10's and big adventure boots!

I,ve had to return this item unfortunately. I found that during clutch gear exchanges the extender tended to slip so the longer side was actually touching my boot so when I used the Gear Assist Pro, the operation failed. It was because the lever started to move too soon. Apparently the computer analyses a nanosecond before the change so with the lever touching the boot, it was going too soon .. or something alogn those lines !!

The too small and hard BMW rubber was cutting into my boot which would also slip of the thing changes! This soft extender doesn't damage the leather and makes shifting more positive on 1st and 2nd as the qickshifter (gear assist a BMW call it) is next to useless for these two gears......

I bought this for my new (to me) GS as I was occasionally missing gear changes and my new boots were quickly becoming scuffed by the gear shifter.
This little accessory has cured both issues.

I fitted this little rubber foot to my R1250RS after changing from an Adventure Bike because I found the foot controls a little smaller and more tucked in than I was used to. This has done the job very well and looks good on the bike.

The best thing I have ever bought for my gs, my gear changes were horrible up and down but this has taken out the slack and now i couldn't be happier. And an extra bonus you never miss the tiny gear changer as this gives you a slightly bigger target i love it thank you.

I found that RT gear lever is a touch to long for my foot size. This snazzy little rubber widget has really improved the comfort when gear changing. For the price you really can’t go wrong!

This is the second one I have purchased as my previous one was definitely stolen whilst parked up. Their simple fitting means they can be easily pulled off, be warned. It definitely improves foot comfort and absolutely saves on pedal wear on the boot upper from gear changes as evidenced during the time I rode without it and purchasing a replacement. Worth buying.

I bough this to make the gear pedal less easy to miss and slip off with muddy boots and hopefully more comfortable on 8 hour rides. it has more than exceeded my expectations, the great change is much smoother when using the quick shift as was never as smooth as using the clutch, it is very close now. Could all be down to my size 12's and 40 years of riding BM boxers.
