I am really pleased with these headers. The bike feels more responsive and powerful and it's way cheaper than buying new BMW headers if (like me) your servo valve is sticking. A few observations: 1) I strongly recommend disconnecting both lambda sensors before unscrewing them. The wires are fragile and a new sensor is almost £200!, 2) to remove and disconnect the sensor connectors, you have to release a locking tab with a small screwdriver. This is hidden behind the connector and not mentioned in the Akra instruction, 3) I recommend getting a remap after to take advantage of the better exhaust flow. 4) I also recommend fitting a servo emulator or you will get error messages. This also stops the exposed loom servo connector getting dirty and corroded.

A nicely finished exhaust. The lack of exhaust gaskets was a little frustrating. The heat shield looks as if it was made for another bike. The option for a black carbon heat shield would have been nice

Great compliment to my Akro end can. Sounds amazing and throttle response significantly improved. Much better looking now the cat and exhaust valve have gone. My only criticism is that for the overall cost they should supply a carbon heat shield instead of the cheap looking metal item. Fast delivery as always with NN. Thanks. 👍

Wanted to eliminate the cat and exhaust valve to allow better breathing. Great high quality product performing with noticeable additional midrange grunt. As promised, no engine adjustment required. Improved sound kept polite with the standard BMW slip on pipe. Needed to remove engine bars to instal but otherwise no hassle. Very satisfied.
