TeqMount adapter onto R1200RT LC and early R1250RT to fit XT2 and XT3

NOTE: DOES NOT SUPPORT WONDERWHEEL OPERATION

This allows the 6-inch XT2 or XT3 to fit into the dashboard of R1200RT/R1250RT (models to 2021 only) which must be equipped with BMW Navigation Preparation (typically models between 2014 and 2020). Although it lacks Wonderwheel functionality, it remains the only solution for fitting the larger 6-inch screens into these specific dashboards. The power supply runs through the BMW preparation so it's simply click in and ride. The adapter is already equipped with the Garmin mount and (the last piece) with the original Garmin motor power cable.

These RTs have the BMW Navigator preparation concealed in the fairing. The Zumo XT1 fits perfectly in between but the XT2, XT3 and Thread 2 are slightly wider. TeqMount have developed an adjustment for our adapter that moves the XT2/XT3 a bit forward and then also a bit upward. This is necessary so that you can still see the top row of warning lights on your dashboard. Ultimately the Zumo XT2/XT3 sits just in front of your dashboard. See the images.
