Easy to fit, need to tuck cables out of way and could do with additional bolts or caps to replace once from original position

Requires better dampening because the amount of vibration makes reading very challenging

excellent quality and positions the sat nav where you can see it as the standard position is way to low down. It would be nice to include some tie wraps spare circlips.

The usual high quality item/materials and fitment from Wunderlich and rapid service from NN. My Nav (Garmin Zumo XT) is positioned perfectly now. One problem- the whole unit does vibrate noticeably. Possibly because the fitting kit didn’t have the little foam pads to protect the bike’s plastics where the metal bracket touches, meaning I had to use some other pieces of thin foam I had on the shelf. Also , Wunderlich seem to use a different diameter mounting bar (13mm) compared to the Rally Raid mount I had intended using (12mm) meaning a workaround was needed to make the Rally Raid mount fit the Wunderlich crossbar. On a positive note, the RR mount places the Nav high enough to not need the adaptor piece supposedly required when bar risers are fitted to the bike.

Easy fit, but needs some adjustments Graham Bennett on Jan 28, 2022

This kit is easy to fit, and is well made. There are 2 issues to note. On my bike, the existing lead for the NavVI cradle was short, and there is not much slack to route the cable neatly to the new location. Secondly, on the road, the wind loads push the standard screen against the top of the relocated Nav causing noise. Needs some careful trial and error adjustment to get it in the right position.

This bracket was incredibly easy to install. It basically consisted of removing the screen and inserting the bracket and then refitting the screen. There is a limited amount of adjustment to get the ideal position. The sat nav wiring needs a little bit of rerouting and there is not much slack. In operation it is perfect and stable. Is not the cheapest but it certainly does the job.
