Relatively easy to apply. Just applied new bit after it was damaged by a scratch however the paint underneath was unmarked

I have previously bought this item and had problems trying to put it onto the bike and have it stay clear.
I'd hoped that after my last review of the item it would have improved.
It hasn't, I have ended up using only half of the item as ghe side parts a) don't fit very well, b) are not clear when I did try.

Very unimpressed. Usually very good at this sort of thing, and followed the instructions to the letter, but due to the double curves it seems impossible to get a bubble free finish

After many attempts to fit this product all as per the instructions, I finally gave up and threw it in the bin.
Always left with what appears to be dust or very small bubbles so not a clear finish as advertised.

Nice and easy to fit on the tank. Being transparent they are hardly noticeable once attached. The compound curves of the Lower panels however presented more of a challenge. Got there in the end, albeit with a few bubbles. Overall, very pleased with these.

Bought this for my new bike and before a 3200 mile trip round Europe. Fitting was a breeze. The care is needed for the large side parts due to the curve of the tank. The protector needs slight warming and stretching to fit. Stick down on other edges and use hairdryer on gentle is my advice. Little warming gets the stretch without reaching elastic limit.
Oh and the protector works well, is almost invisible and withstands jetwashing.
If you ge this and the pannier protector do this one first!

This kit was very easy to get good results with a little time taken I found it best to use a hair dryer lots of soapy water is needed and wet hands but take your time and great results can be achieved once fitted it is slightly hazy under the film this dissipates after a while
