On first purchase I initially thought I had been sent the wrong part. I was used to the extender fitting under the existing mudguard and not on top of. However once I married them up it was a simple and effective fit. I used the sticking pads and also drilled and used the provided plugs. Looks good on the bike, in fact just part of the mudguard!

Perfect fit. Very easy to do, I used the plastic rivets as well as the adhesive pads for extra security. Fast delivery for a 5 * service.

Super service from Nippy Normans as usual.
Item made by Pyramid Plastics sadly not up to their usual standard. I found the fit to be poor and as a result won't be fitting the product to my bike. Other reviews don't appear to have the same issue so might be a one off.

Super cheap quality, worse than cheapest Chinese 💩, charged fortune, if knew would not bought it!! Quality like from poundland!! God knows who made it??? No indication !!! Puig?? They make stuff in Spain mostly . Overpriced!

Nice quality item and fitment. Easy to fit with the supplied adhesive pads although I secured it with two tiny bolts as well.
Looks tidy and unobtrusive but is still long enough to protect the front of the engine.

Good item, simple to fit. I used the double sided tape supplied, Just clean both surfaces with gentle solvent, and clamp overnight. I have had success with this method before. The item does narrow down at the lower end, I would have preferred it to be same width over the full length for better protection. Great service from Nippy Normans as always.

I first fitted the fender extender when the bike was new (in March 2020). I simply used the sticky pad option. However, after about 2,000 miles (low because of Lockdowns!), I noticed it had dropped off. It’s probably lying somewhere in a Devon gutter. On the replacement, I opted to drill the mudguard and use the 3 plastic rivets which will more positively secure the extender. NB: for other users, the instructions/diagram indicate that 4 rivets are supplied yet only 3 are in the package. So far, extender is secure and effective at keeping debris off the engine front plate.

Front fender extender made by Pyramid. Comes complete with stickers and/or plastic rivets. I didn’t want to damage the existing guard so opted for stickers. These are shown in the instructions for positioning but still a bit hit and miss as extender is not the closest fit! Requires thorough clean (alcohol wipe after washing normally all surfaces) clamping overnight so mole grips and a couple of soft clamps (beware damaging your paintwork) .
Not the best fit and will test its durability this month on a 1 week tour. Does seem to offer reasonable protection to the lower engine section so time will tell!

Good fit and does the job well. It’s easier to fit with the mudguard off (a two minute job) and I also added three small bolts for security. Excellent product for the price.

Fed up with having a pebble dash and dirty breast plate on the BMW R series. this eliminates a majority of the spray quick and easy to fit and looks like an original item
