I was keen to get these parts on the bike before I rode it home from the dealer (150 miles!). They would touch non BMW parts so I took them in a rucksack to fit them myself in the showroom. I’d watched the YouTube videos that MachineArt had posted as I am no techie. It was an absolute breeze - no drilling - and they do a great job. The cylinder covers look like OEM and much more discreet than engine bars.

I used mudsling products on my previous 1200GS and was very impressed with their durability, protection (X heads) and keeping dirt off the bike. I dropped the bike a number of times in 11 years of ownership and the Xheads absorbed the impact every time remaining unmarked! These are the same high quality products, remarkably easily fitted and provide excellent protection from road dirt.

Very easy to fit. Videos on You Tube show you how if you find the instructions unclear which I didn't. The Mudsling and the Avant are already keeping the bike much cleaner than it otherwise would be on wet roads. Hopefully I'll never put the Xheads to the test but they look good and provide much more protection than the factory part they replace. Excellent service form Nippy Normans as ever.

This kind of items was recommended by my dealer and in fact I have ordered them the same day as I order the bike. I must say that they fit perfectly. Easy montage without any modification to the bike. Good and illustrative montage drawings made it easy to understand how ton fit the part to the bike.
