Needed to cover up a minor tear. Instead of spending stupid money on a total repair or replacement, this has prolonged the task and enables me to carry on until winter where I'll have a bit more time to do a thorough repair.

Just to inform anyone buying this kit it is possible to choose the finish off the material which i did not realise. The package shows different finishes such as Matt and Shiny etc. I suggest phoning before ordering to get the correct finish for your seat. The kit is good but not as good as a retrim as the edges show.

On a recent trip I managed to melt 2 small holes in my seat. I bought this kit to repair the damage. It is really easy to use -just cut to size and stick in place. That said it does not look the best and as yet I am not too sure how long the repair will last as the seat take a lot of abuse from getting on and off etc. From my point of view it is an OK solution, but if you are bike proud you probably want to get your seat professionally repaired. As ever the service from Nippy Normans was superb.

Covered a 10mm hole well on a curved bit of my seat. Material is as thick as the original cover so is noticeable but hey its a patch so will never be invisible. Keeps the rain out and saves me recovering.
