I honestly don't know why the stock position of the Nav is down by the ignition, you don't really catch it in your peripheral vision and looking down is more dangerous. With this mount placing it above the TFT but not obscuring the road ahead it's much more safer, comfortable to look at and it's build quality is second to none. The bracket is solid as a rock, no doubts about the Nav falling off or even the bracket falling off I agree with others saying that 4 bolts should be included to replace the stock mounting location ones to make it more of a finished and nicer look

Brilliant conversion kit. Easy to install and stable with good instructions to mount with or without original BMW satnav mount. Remove satnav data cable from loom and feed to the right of the TFT screen and secure with tie-wrap. Conversion kit sits above and to the left of the TFT screen to allow for the screen to be adjusted for height. Would be helpful if four bolts could be supplied to replace the unsightly bolts left behind by the removal of the original satnav mount.
