The quick connect cable set is exactly what it says on the tin. It’s really easy to fit, and doesn’t require a great deal of know how to connect to the DIN plug on the bike. A few minutes work and now I’ve got a fully functional weatherproof wireless charging head on my R18C. Due to the way the quick connect cable set is wired up, it still allows the DIN plug to be used ie for any other accessories. I thought that’s quite clever.

I used this to connect a zumo xt to my 1250rt with the tft dash to back up the occasionally unreliable connected ride app. This made it so much easier to connect to power, no splicing, and can be removed just as easily.

The unit is well made and suitable for most Beemer bikes. Just attach behind the Aux DIN plug which helps with drawing off a low current to charge other equipment. I gave 3 stars due to the lack of assistance from NN as this unit would be most suitable for bike with the Din plug situated up in the cockpit area ; as for my bike the Din plug is under the seat so I still have to run an extnesion cable through to the cable. NN SAYS No request for assistance received Robert but glad it worked so well.

Very easy to install and works perfectly. This now powers a SP connect wireless phone charger. I would recommend this solution if you need a switched power feed.
