A very useful sun shade that clips onto my BMW Nav IV but have to say that even though it clips on securely and is of robust construction, a bit pricey.

Well packaged in a nice box.
The shade is very nicely made and thicker than it looks in the pictures.
It looks better in the flesh so to speak.
The fit is nice and secure to the navigation unit, however it is a tight fit in the cradle once the shade is fitted and required the button to be pushed home securely to make sure the Nav unit will not come loose.
Looks good when seen on the bike and more importantly it does shade the screen very well from glare. Of course if the sun is directly facing the screen then it won’t do anything but for the rest of the time it is very good at reducing glare.
I’m very impressed.
Just lost a star for the worry that the Nav will fall off if not checked.

A small piece of plastic that costs £30
Not the best fit for the 660 - easily knocked off - no secure way to fasten it.
A bit of cardboard with an elastic band would do a better job

The SatNav mount on the RS is quite horizontal compared to my previous GS and sun light can really glare on the screen at times. This isn't the cheapest shade you can buy but from the moment you get the box you know it's Wunderlich Quality!
It mounts on the Nav IV (or Zumo 660) with a firm click that you know won't come off and it fits on the BMW mount without any interference at all. In fact, once in place it really looks like it's part of the mount itself.
Does it stop ALL glare? NO, but it makes a big difference. And anyway, to cut out all glare the sides would have to be so tall that you'd never be able to reach the screen with your finger when riding.
So as a compromise between shading and usability it's perfect!

The shade clips on snugly and still allows the unit to fit into the BMW cradle. The shade is wide/deep enough to give some good screening from the sun on what otherwise is hopeless in bright conditions.

Hoped to better enable viewing in sunshine, helps a little, but due to the unreasonable skyward tilt on the BMW fitting only marginal help Have added a piece of right angle Plastic molding fixed with two sided tape. Casts a bit more shadow.
