Bought this to cut out the glare when riding on brighter days. There is no perfect solution as at some point the bike will always end up with some level of sun, but this provides enough cover to increase your chances. Just a note, this fits to the navigator device itself, not the mount, so you will need to carry it when the device is off the bike. I would have given this an extra star if it mounted once to the bike, rather than on the unit itself.

I had noticed that now I have re positioned my satnav to above the dash, that I was getting a bit of sun glare on the screen, so purchased this item. It was easy to fit and looks fine. It does help with glare, but doesn't totally stop it, but I will play around with the angle of the mount, which may help. Overall, am pleased with the item. Thanks to NN for their fast, professional service.
