Great quality bag for taking a phone and small items like passport and credit card on tour. Velcro attachment is not totally secure however.

Great for all small items. Velcro fasteners could of been a little longer.

A bit pricey, but easy to fit and waterproof. There is little space to store stuff on the RnineT, so this is almost an essential item. It won't hold a typical modern mobile phone in the window section - typically 170mm x 80mm - pity! It does limit easy access for the ignition key, but with raised bars this may be minimised. As usual, excellent service from NN - thanks. Michael

Excellent concept and quality, just make sure you check the size of the phone compartment carefully, I didn't and my iPhone 11 wouldn't fit, so ordered the one with bigger pocket (to be reviewed in due course). Nippy Normans were fabulous and credited the difference when I returned this one. Fabulous service as usual.

I bought the handle bar bag for my new s1000xr, specifically for a trip from Ness Point (furthest most eastern point mainland uk) to ardnamurchan lighthouse (furtherest most western point mainland uk) and it done everything I wanted it to. Held my wallet, charging cables, charging bank leatherman easily and most importantly kept them dry, which was needed the second we cross the border. Only downside, I'd have like to have gone for the larger option. But as a rider who is used to tank banks im a convert. Its unobtrusive to me as a rider and to the cockpit gauges. No problem moving the tank bag when fueling up. No frustrating reattachment to the ring in the cold and rain.

I bought for touring mainly but I find myself using it on a regular basis. There’s plenty of room for mobile sunglasses, documents and loose change. The build quality is very good and fits snuggly on th the bars with just a valcro fastening. The mobile sleeve is a good idea but if you have anything bigger than the iPhone 6 then it won’t fit. There is a slot on the back of the bag for a cable for charging devices but with mine the inner part is blocked by a slip of leather. My main gripe with the bag is he plastic clear screen for the mobile holder if you have the sun behind you it reflects in the screen straight into you vision, even turning the bag around doesn’t help much hence I only gave 4 stars. All in all it’s a good bag even if a little pricey, it does come with a shoulder strap so if you away from the bike for a long time you can take it with you.

Handelbar bag. Three week Tour of Europe Rik Rawcliffe on Aug 05, 2018

Used constantly during three week tour of Europe, has stood up well in extreme heat. Tough looking product, well constructed. I have only one gripe Velcro securing straps not long enough, so internal capacity is compromised, when trying to fix securely . Straps haven’t come loose but longer straps would increase confidence. The large media bag didn’t come with shoulder carry strap even though the product has d shackles to support a shoulder strap, which the previous smaller bag did. All in all a good product.

Product quality and fit / attachment great, but the angle of fit makes reading the phone screen difficult through the plastic screen due to reflection etc. if you intend using your phone as the primary Sat Nav device. Otherwise great product for touring and keeping all those bits at hand that you need for tolls etc.

Bag is excellent. Yes window fogs up and capacitive screen will not work through it (small complaint). Straps are fine. Obviously there is no way to secure bag onto bike so security is non-existant. Recommended.

The securing straps could do with being a bit longer for fitting to the handlebars, good fast service from Nippys .

Excellent bag, perfect for those small items you are always looking for, also enables phone to be charged on the go. Found out BT accident, if you put a small Bluetooth speaker in it , you can hear music as you ride very clear up to legal speeds 😉

I've not owned this bag for long so this is a 'first impressions' review. I bought this bag based on a recommendation from a friend who has used a non 'media' version of this bag from Wunderlich for some time. The bag looks and feels of good quality. It fits my 2013 R1200GS LC well, although in the absence of a cross brace on the handlebars the bag does have a tendency to flop about a bit. I've not had it long enough to decide whether this will be a problem or not. The 'media' pocket and window is OK but a little bit disappointing for the following reasons: 1. Your phone/device is slotted into the pocket from inside the bag, and it is secured in the pocket by a broad Velcro flap. My phone (HTC One) fits in the pocket but it's difficult to plug the phone in while it's in the pocket. I will probably have to 'modify' the bag to make it possible to power the phone while it's in the pocket. I would guess that there would be a similar problem with many phones. 2. The clear plastic window on the media pocket prevents you from using the touch screen of your phone. It appears to be of the wrong material to transmit finger prods to your phone (gloved or not). I don't intend to be operating my phone while riding, but it is annoying to have to get it out of the bag to do anything at all. Other than that the bag seems really good.

Bag is of excellent quality, fits well and holds all I require it to. However, the plastic window on the mobile phone pouch gets wet inside with either condensation or when it rains. So now I only keep my phone in there when it's guaranteed dry!
