The TWIST gives both LANDSCAPE and PORTRAIT options with just a quick twist !
The Garmin Zumo XT and XT2 motorcycle navigation can be mounted both horizontally (landscape) and vertically (portrait). Both positions have their advantages outside or in the city. The Zumo XT and XT2 (and some other models such as the Garmin Montana) navigation systems automatically change when you rotate them. Wouldn't it be great if you could easily rotate your Zumo XT or XT2 to the desired position?!
The TeqMount Zumo Twist is a simple solution !
It screws between the motor mount and the Garmin navigation mount and allows you to rotate the Zumo through 90°.
Thanks to its 28mm depth the Zumo Twist allows the GPS to rotate freely even when the ZumoLock is installed.
The Zumo Twist is specifically designed for the Garmin Zumo XT and XT2 mount, but can also be used for devices like the Garmin Montana. For mounting on your motorcycle, you can use the standard RAM mount or another motorcycle-specific mounting bracket.
NOTE
The electronics of the Zumo XT that are supposed to detect the rotation of the device are very sensitive to vibrations. On many motorcycles, rotation can also occur while riding. However, if detection cannot take place due to the vibrations of the motor and the screen therefore does not rotate automatically, it may be necessary to drive at walking pace for a while, come to a standstill, or even switch off the engine for a moment.
SOLUTION
The Zumo Twist solves this issue – if the GPS changes from one view to another then just TWIST !
The Zumo Twist comes with stainless steel bolts, nuts and Allen key.
The Zumo Twist can be used with and without the Zumo Lock
