Quite hard to set up, as there is no swivel on the mirror to mirror stem. The ones I received were tightened so tight, the mirror stem was damaged when I eventually got them extended to their full lengh.

Much better than the original mirrors at low speed on G310GS, can see everything. However, vibrate badly at higher speeds. Can see something is behind but unable to see what, ie could be a car, lorry, motorcycle etc.

I got the mirrors as i had broken an original mirror and the cost of a new one was way to much saw these on nippys and for the price of a original i got two folding mirrors which fit nicely on my bike and if i drop it the mirrors won't break

The standard mirrors on the R1250RT aren’t the best and you can end up with some major blind spots, with these added those areas are covered - I know a live saver is needed but this gives that little bit more assurance that things are find behind. Be aware if you has SOS and Aux light switches the standard mirror adapters wont work.

Wish I hadn't purchased them it hasn't stopped raining since I put them on! (Oct 19) Apart from that both mirrors & brackets "Excellent"

Good quality mirrors, easy to fit, improved the appearance of the bike.(no longer had Bugs Bunny like ears sticking out at the side)Recommended.

Good build quality only fault is its a sleeve fit and tightened by a pinch bolt. At speed one mirror moves against the wind pressure. No matter how much tightening it still moves I will try plumbers tape to pack the tube

Very good mirrors, which overcome difficulty getting a good rear view with the fairing mounted mirrors. Very expensive and would be better supplied in pairs.

A very good set of mirror for off road

These mirrors have been added to eliminate the blind spots when using the fairing mounted factory fitted mirrors (yes I still do life savers as well!). As such they are fine but would not use them to 'replace' the standard mirrors. Easy enough to fit.

Nice mirrors that suit the R1200RT - easy to fit and adjust - transforms the rear view on a R1200RT - highly recommended.

Mirrors and adaptors easily fitted. Once checked for position and tightened did not move under normal riding conditions. Got rear ended a couple of weeks after fitting and they have survived but are out of position!!!!! Mirrors used to eliminate blind spot on R1200RT - pre LC. Only downside is they do slightly obscure factory fit mirrors but would still recommend them.

Very easy to fit. Initially tested mirrors in heavy rain (Wales!) and adjusted standard fitted mirrors for blind spot elimination (R1200RT). Seem to work very well indeed. Had initially used very similar mirrors on a GS. Only downside I noticed on initial ride was vibration at lower revs. Just hope I don't drop the bike to see if the 'clutch' system works.

Improvement with rear vis? Yes. Installation (with adaptors)? Easy. Do they vibrate? Yes. Build quality? OK. Do they spoil the aesthetics of the bike? No, I think they enhance the looks. Do They get in the way? Yes, they can do when mounting the bike, but not a concern otherwise. Do they obscure the forward view? I have not noticed any obstruction. Do they take getting use to? Yes, but not long before you adapt to them. Expensive? Yes, very. Recommend? Hummmm (thinking hard),Yes. I do quite high mileage & escort riding where its essential to have excellent rear view, for everyday low mileage riding is it worth the expense? Not so sure. These mirrors will definitely enhance your rear view, which is always a positive, but it will not & should not replace your 'Life-savers' As mentioned they do vibrate, especially at low revs with the Boxer Eng, once speed picks up the vibration is not too bad.

These same mirrors made a huge difference on my 2012RT because the fairing mirrors gave poor rear visibility. On my new 2015 RT LC however the redesigned fairing mirrors give good visibility and these add little if anything.

Such a difference being able to see more much more confidence running with other bikes that want to come racing up behind us on the A32,I can see them coming now Downside is my friends think I'm turning Into a MOD

Disappointed that an Allen key is required to fold the mirrors; I was expecting a spring indent as the F800. Initially I thought them too small but the field of vision I find better than the original R1200ST and current F800. I now tolerate the lack of tool-less fold, hence not top star rating from me.

At last I can see. BM standard mirrors are more or less useless. These improve things greatly and together with the adaptors are easy to fit.

A good mirror with a good set of adapters. My only grip would be, you can't adjust the mirror head independently of the arm.

Good quality mirrors. Easily adjusted and no vibration. Could do with being a bit bigger though.
