Great little bit of kit. Nice quality. Reasonable price. Arrived quickly. Does what it is supposed to do. Easy to carry on bike. Easy ordering process. Happy bunny.

Without this small and perfectly formed valve stem adaptor adjusting my tyre pressures would be very difficult and time consuming! Excellent addition to the bike’s toolkit.

Handy item to have. I keep in the pocket on the bike so it is readily available. Fits easy and useful if and when you need to top air up in a garage where the std connection does not always fit.

I had a couple of experiences where filling station forecourt air-lines wouldn’t pump air into my tyres because of the shorter tyre valves on my GS - in fact, they let air escape and I couldn’t pump any back - nightmare! This temp valve rectified the problem immediately - easily fitted onto the tyre valve when you need to use it and small enough to store in any luggage or pocket - problem solved!

I contacted Nippy Normans for advise on adjusting tire pressures where tire pressure sensors are fitted. They replied almost immediately recommending a valve stem adaptor which I ordered and it works perfectly!

Attention anyone with a spoked wheel GS/GSA without the right angle valves who struggles to get an air hose onto their valve because of the spokes - just buy this, it works. No fuss, no faff, it works and makes life infinitely easier when inflating your tyres. Great service from Nippy Norman's too!

Wish I’d come across this earlier, have struggled to inflate or check tyre pressure on spoked wheels on my GS , in the past I’ve actually deflated the tyre just trying to get airline attached to valve so this is know a valuable piece of kit for me.

Not owned a GS for long so when needing to inflate tyres and the pump just will not fit due to the spokes....AAAAHHHH?. This nifty little tool does the job perfectly but should be part of your tools kit from BMW. Great service from Nippy's

An angle for air! Erich BONNETON DE SARLAT on Aug 11, 2020

Rating: 5

Couldn’t access the valve on the back wheel of my motorbike but a look at Nippy Norman’s shop and back on the road in minutes. Very fast delivery of a very nicely built angled valve, which is perfect with the latest BMWs which have electronic checks on tyres’ air pressure. Not permanent, unfortunately, but it takes no space at all under my seat. And ready for any rising opportunity. Thank you Norman.

No so difficult and fiddly when trying to connect the pump direct to the valve stem on the BMW but a nightmare on the Harley. With this, it is a piece of cake. Recommended

Quite expensive for what it is but essential to check pressure / inflate tyres (especially the front wheel) on this model as this can’t be done without unintentionally releasing air with a standard air gauge/inflation pump

I was interested in the Tyre valve stem adapters. there were 3 to choose from, 2 were 90 degree ones the other was just like an extension to be screwed to the valve. The later was the one I was interested in and it said it fitted all motorcycles. I have an R1200RT LC which has Tyre Pressure sensors so I wanted to be sure it would fit. So before ordering I emailed NN and asked if that one was ok for my bike. I got a reply which said nothing but a link to the 90 degree on for tyre pressure sensors. So I ordered it. It arrived promptly but is no use as my valves are already horizontal to the tyre. I emailed back asking why they suggested that one and got no reply. What a waste of time.

Because I own a bmw 1200gs with spiked wheels this makes it easy to put air in the tyres. The product feels well made.

Must have. Bob on Jan 21, 2018

Rating: 4

If you have spoked wheels on a GS you need this for the front wheel. BUT as some air escapes when you remove it you will also need a guage that will fit the wheels.i only use the extension for putting in air. Only 4* because of price Service A1 as usual.

Very Useful Item J H Fairlamb on Dec 14, 2016

Rating: 5

This little item is a godsend for assisting in getting the air line onto your valve . Most garage forecourt air lines are really designed for cars and because of the location of bike valves do not fit on very well due to disc brakes or exhausts . This is a replacement for one I lost and seems a better fit than my previous one . I carry it in my jacket pocket for ease of use . I can highly recommend this item.

If you want air in your tyres.......get one of these! Joe on Sep 01, 2016

Rating: 5

Had permanent 90° valves on my old bike (perfect) but this one has pressure sensors. Very easy to use, reliable internal valves, no pressure loss if you are quick (and don't cross-thread) on fitting and removing it....and without one its almost impossible to get air into the tyres! You only need one, as they cannot be left on the valve, so keep it in your pocket.

2010 model with stupid access to tyres. This little gizmo changes all that. Screw on. Connect. Inflate. Job done. So why didn't BMW think about that? Oh yes .... they did an later models. Pay a tenner and catch up with today!

Good quality, does what it sets out to do - I bought it to go with a pump because previous buyers said it was required. I'm not sure it helps the issue it is supposed to and is rather expensive for what it is.

After my valve snapped at the service station caused by having to force the unsuitable inflator onto the valve, leaving me stranded with a flat tyre I decided immediately that I had to purchase the 90 degree adapter for the future! An absolute must!

My bike failed its MOT because the metal valve stem on the front wheel had snapped while I was trying to inflate it with a garage pump. The 90 degree adaptor makes tyre maintenance stress free, and I would commend it to all

While touring it had often been very difficult to add air to the front tyre of my RT (with TPM). The rigid handle and angled outlet on the air hose at some petrol stations meant I often deflated rather than inflated the tyre. Problem solved! This product works exactly as claimed and is now a permanent part of my onboard toolkit. Ian

As another person noted, I too purchased the regular bendy adaptor not marked "for bikes with pressure sensors'" and when I went to use it I was deflating instead of inflating. This adaptor works like a charm. Just a warning/advise: be fast with it. When trying to screw it on, there is some air leacking out until a seal is made between it and the tyre valve. The same applies when taking it out. I just add a bit more air and it all works out. Great and essential piece of kit.

This adaptor isn't cheap, but it works. I first bought a cheap one off ebay - what a waste of money that was! This one works perfectly: easy to mount on the valve stem, no leakage while inflating the tyre, and no leakage when removing it. Highly recommended.

This is one of those simple pieces of gear that can save a lot of hassle on the road. Who hasn’t struggled with gas station pumps, trying to fit an obtrusive nozzle in a short, stiff tire valve? This small trinket saves a lot of time and aggravation – never leaves my tankbag. Only con would be the fact that the fitting and removing operation may cause some air to escape the tire (as stated by a previous user) – but that only requires that you double check it later with your compressor / tire gauge, and you never really lose any more than 0.1 bar…

Chris Trim on Apr 15, 2012

Well made and essential accessory to enable use of variety of air pumps, which otherwise struggle to grip the short front wheel valve stem or which can foul the rear disc.

Essential for using country garage air. Car air hose ends will not fit a GSA

Mark Langdown on Mar 12, 2012

Rating: 4

Ideal to keep in your tool kit as most garage air lines will not fit. You do let air out as you take it off so do not depend on it for accuracy - always check pressure with a guage afterwards.
