Handy item Andy on Sep 13, 2021
Handy item to have.
I keep in the pocket on the bike so it is readily available.
Fits easy and useful if and when you need to top air up in a garage where the std connection does not always fit.
Do exactly what it says on the tin! Mark Andrews on Jul 26, 2021
I had a couple of experiences where filling station forecourt air-lines wouldn’t pump air into my tyres because of the shorter tyre valves on my GS - in fact, they let air escape and I couldn’t pump any back - nightmare!
This temp valve rectified the problem immediately - easily fitted onto the tyre valve when you need to use it and small enough to store in any luggage or pocket - problem solved!

They work ok. Have got them on occasions before but i mislay them
Valve Stem adapters Ian Still on May 24, 2021
I contacted Nippy Normans for advise on adjusting tire pressures where tire pressure sensors are fitted. They replied almost immediately recommending a valve stem adaptor which I ordered and it works perfectly!
Great Little Accessory Dave Gregory on Apr 03, 2021
Attention anyone with a spoked wheel GS/GSA without the right angle valves who struggles to get an air hose onto their valve because of the spokes - just buy this, it works. No fuss, no faff, it works and makes life infinitely easier when inflating your tyres. Great service from Nippy Norman's too!
Excellent Andrew Molineux on Mar 23, 2021
Excellent , makes adjusting tyre pressures so easy.
Brilliant Andrew Molineux on Feb 18, 2021
Wish I’d come across this earlier, have struggled to inflate or check tyre pressure on spoked wheels on my GS , in the past I’ve actually deflated the tyre just trying to get airline attached to valve so this is know a valuable piece of kit for me.
Makes life easy Paul Williams on Aug 28, 2020
Not owned a GS for long so when needing to inflate tyres and the pump just will not fit due to the spokes....AAAAHHHH?. This nifty little tool does the job perfectly but should be part of your tools kit from BMW. Great service from Nippy's
An angle for air! Erich BONNETON DE SARLAT on Aug 11, 2020
Couldn’t access the valve on the back wheel of my motorbike but a look at Nippy Norman’s shop and back on the road in minutes.
Very fast delivery of a very nicely built angled valve, which is perfect with the latest BMWs which have electronic checks on tyres’ air pressure.
Not permanent, unfortunately, but it takes no space at all under my seat. And ready for any rising opportunity.
Thank you Norman.
Temporary 90 Degree Valve Stem Adaptor John Measures on Aug 03, 2020
No so difficult and fiddly when trying to connect the pump direct to the valve stem on the BMW but a nightmare on the Harley. With this, it is a piece of cake. Recommended
Temp 90 degree Valve Stem Adaptor Neil Patterson on Feb 08, 2020
A practical piece of kit that does what it was purchase for. Makes the tyres easy to inflate with any hose fitting. It’s a necessity with spoked wheels!
Useful little thing Alun Lewis on Mar 31, 2019
Really useful little adaptor makes topping up your tyres so much easier. Wouldn’t be without it.
Tyre pressure valve Hedley Evans on Mar 29, 2019
Good product. Much easier to to pump up the tyres, especially the rear
90 degree valve stem Bob Cavendish on Mar 09, 2019
A useful piece of kit which made connecting valve much easier.
Temporary angled valve stem Phil on Sep 17, 2018
Quite expensive for what it is but essential to check pressure / inflate tyres (especially the front wheel) on this model as this can’t be done without unintentionally releasing air with a standard air gauge/inflation pump
Unimpressed robert murdoch on Sep 12, 2018
I was interested in the Tyre valve stem adapters. there were 3 to choose from, 2 were 90 degree ones the other was just like an extension to be screwed to the valve. The later was the one I was interested in and it said it fitted all motorcycles. I have an R1200RT LC which has Tyre Pressure sensors so I wanted to be sure it would fit. So before ordering I emailed NN and asked if that one was ok for my bike. I got a reply which said nothing but a link to the 90 degree on for tyre pressure sensors. So I ordered it. It arrived promptly but is no use as my valves are already horizontal to the tyre. I emailed back asking why they suggested that one and got no reply. What a waste of time.
Mr Nev on Jun 01, 2018
Because I own a bmw 1200gs with spiked wheels this makes it easy to put air in the tyres. The product feels well made.
Must have. Bob on Jan 21, 2018
If you have spoked wheels on a GS you need this for the front wheel. BUT as some air escapes when you remove it you will also need a guage that will fit the wheels.i only use the extension for putting in air. Only 4* because of price
Service A1 as usual.
Review Mike on Jan 20, 2017
Item was exactly as described and does exactly what I needed. Also arrived ahead of time, in spite of it being Xmas period.
Very Useful Item J H Fairlamb on Dec 14, 2016
This little item is a godsend for assisting in getting the air line onto your valve . Most garage forecourt air lines are really designed for cars and because of the location of bike valves do not fit on very well due to disc brakes or exhausts . This is a replacement for one I lost and seems a better fit than my previous one . I carry it in my jacket pocket for ease of use . I can highly recommend this item.
Mr. Daniel Oliveira on Dec 08, 2016
It works very good. It fits perfectly on pressure sensors
If you want air in your tyres.......get one of these! Joe on Sep 01, 2016
Had permanent 90° valves on my old bike (perfect) but this one has pressure sensors. Very easy to use, reliable internal valves, no pressure loss if you are quick (and don't cross-thread) on fitting and removing it....and without one its almost impossible to get air into the tyres! You only need one, as they cannot be left on the valve, so keep it in your pocket.
Tyre adaptor Paul Kind on Jul 23, 2016
2010 model with stupid access to tyres. This little gizmo changes all that. Screw on. Connect. Inflate. Job done.
So why didn't BMW think about that?
Oh yes .... they did an later models.
Pay a tenner and catch up with today!
90 deg valve stem adaptors Geoff Ball on May 07, 2016
Does what it says. Ideal for those awkward valves where you let out more air than you put in.
Ron EDWARDS on Feb 13, 2016
Good tool very easy to use.
Steve Sharkey on Oct 23, 2015
Good quality, does what it sets out to do - I bought it to go with a pump because previous buyers said it was required. I'm not sure it helps the issue it is supposed to and is rather expensive for what it is.
Simon O'Neill on Aug 11, 2015
You got a bike like mine with pressure sensors - then you need this. Great product
Mark Fowler on Aug 09, 2015
Does what it says on the tin! The usual 90 degree adaptors you can buy don't seal up properly on TPM stems for some reason and I have two :( , but this one does. I always have it with me in a jacket pocket now.

It works! BMW don't get many things wrong but this small gizmo solves one.
Jim Miskelly on Mar 03, 2015
This valve stem adapter is especially handy for the scooters 15" wheels as there is very little room between the outside circumference of disc brake and the inside diameter of the wheel rim.
Brendan Gallagher on Feb 20, 2015
You cant pump the rear tyre with
pressure sensor without this.
Kevin Worth on Nov 17, 2014
Brilliant simple device completely solves the problem of accurately inflating and checking tyre pressures. Would not leave home without one. Thank you very much.
Colin Godfrey on Sep 18, 2014
haven't used it yet, but service from Nippy Normans as ever, speedy.
Chris Barnes on Sep 10, 2014
This is the kind of well made gadget I like. Specifically design to make an awkward and necessary requirement much easier. often struggled to get air compressor nozzle in amongst the spokes of my bike..excellent addition to your seat based tool kit and appropriately priced.
Ray Marsh on Sep 01, 2014
Bought this as the rear valve on my RT1200 is in an awkward position, this adapter works really well and well worth the money.
Eric Philipson on Aug 30, 2014
i tried 2 others neither of which worked now i have the perfect adapter to inflate the rear Tyre of our bike in the tool pouch so i never leave home without it
Martin Milburn on Jun 12, 2014
Exactly what I needed having had to in the past replace a broken type pressure sensor having attempted to use a car airline. Thanks
Simon Noon on May 25, 2014
After my valve snapped at the service station caused by having to force the unsuitable inflator onto the valve, leaving me stranded with a flat tyre I decided immediately that I had to purchase the 90 degree adapter for the future! An absolute must!
mick brewis on May 08, 2014
My bike failed its MOT because the metal valve stem on the front wheel had snapped while I was trying to inflate it with a garage pump. The 90 degree adaptor makes tyre maintenance stress free, and I would commend it to all
Ian Garrett on Apr 23, 2014
While touring it had often been very difficult to add air to the front tyre of my RT (with TPM). The rigid handle and angled outlet on the air hose at some petrol stations meant I often deflated rather than inflated the tyre.
This product works exactly as claimed and is now a permanent part of my onboard toolkit.
iain walker on Feb 17, 2014
Not sure why BMW dont provide somehting like this themselves, but they dont. THe good news is this works perfectly and solves the problem completely.
Mick Scaife on Feb 02, 2014
A must buy item, don't struggle checking T.P.'s use one of these and keep it in the tool kit
ken birchall on Feb 01, 2014
Great product, Stops you fighting with airline to rear wheel.
Brian Ross-Meering on Oct 07, 2013
I wish I had known of this product years ago as it would have saved me a lot of frustration trying to put air in my tyres (thanks for the design BMW). Now, with the adaptor it's as simple as it should be. Works perfectly - but make sure it is screwed on quite tight
Roderick MacDougall on Aug 12, 2013
Arrived promptly and does the job!
Peter Holley on Jul 22, 2013
Needs a drop of silicone to keep the knurled ring free. Works OK but lets a bit of air out when releasing.
Greg Taylor on May 07, 2013
Does what it's meant to without fuss. Makes putting air in the rear tyre a lot easier.

Jose M Cano on Oct 01, 2012
Highly recommended accessories. Practical and necessary for use. Greetings
Alan Blythe on Sep 03, 2012
Nicely made item in brass, with a solid feel to it. Gives the easy angle needed to check/adjust pressures.
Kostas A on Jul 14, 2012
As another person noted, I too purchased the regular bendy adaptor not marked "for bikes with pressure sensors'" and when I went to use it I was deflating instead of inflating. This adaptor works like a charm. Just a warning/advise: be fast with it. When trying to screw it on, there is some air leacking out until a seal is made between it and the tyre valve. The same applies when taking it out. I just add a bit more air and it all works out. Great and essential piece of kit.
John B on Jun 24, 2012
Does what it is supposed to do. Well made essential piece of kit.
Achim Gloger on Jun 10, 2012
This adaptor isn't cheap, but it works. I first bought a cheap one off ebay - what a waste of money that was!
This one works perfectly: easy to mount on the valve stem, no leakage while inflating the tyre, and no leakage when removing it. Highly recommended.
Michael Gaw on Jun 01, 2012
Good alternative to struggling with air line at garages. No serious issues so far. No leaks as some reviewers have suggested. I take it in my toolkit everywhere.
Nuno Simão on May 13, 2012
This is one of those simple pieces of gear that can save a lot of hassle on the road.
Who hasn’t struggled with gas station pumps, trying to fit an obtrusive nozzle in a short, stiff tire valve?
This small trinket saves a lot of time and aggravation – never leaves my tankbag.
Only con would be the fact that the fitting and removing operation may cause some air to escape the tire (as stated by a previous user) – but that only requires that you double check it later with your compressor / tire gauge, and you never really lose any more than 0.1 bar…
Chris Trim on Apr 15, 2012
Well made and essential accessory to enable use of variety of air pumps, which otherwise struggle to grip the short front wheel valve stem or which can foul the rear disc.
Russ Holgate on Apr 04, 2012
Essential for using country garage air. Car air hose ends will not fit a GSA
Mark Langdown on Mar 12, 2012
Ideal to keep in your tool kit as most garage air lines will not fit. You do let air out as you take it off so do not depend on it for accuracy - always check pressure with a guage afterwards.
