Reviews of Denali Complete Split Sound Bomb (120dB) Horn Kit R1250GS/Adventure 2021 on (if fitted with the adaptive headlight)

Fantastic sound bomb John Sinclair on Dec 19, 2025

Rating: 5

The split sound bomb for the GS adventure is fantastic it really is a head turner when you use it. Fitting of this is really easy and plug and play with no need to get things adjusted by a dealer. The item is of really good quality. The service from nippynormans is top notch as you would expect.

Great horn and very loud…. Relatively easy to install with basic knowledge, confidence and a YouTube video. Good service from Nippy Normans, will definitely use again, thank you!

Installed on r1250gs Not too difficult to workout and definitely makes a difference over standard horn.

Super loud! Harry Humphrey on Jan 20, 2023

Fairly easy to fit if you don’t mind removing panels etc. I took the tank off as well as it made routing the hose easier . An installation video happened to be released on the day I was fitting mine, it made routing hose & cables very clear. It’s certainly loud! Can’t wait to try it out on the road.

Good kit but quite an effort to fit Andy Gray on Jan 19, 2023

Firstly this is loud which it is meant to be! Good kit but remember you will need to remove side panels and possibly nose to get full access to route the wiring along the right hand side of the bike. In my case that means removing the upper crash bar as well. Struggled to find somewhere to put the excess wiring loom and relay. Ended up with the wiring coiled on top of the battery box for the moment and will probably cut it down at some later date. Be aware that the pins in the CanBus connector are delicate and easily bent.
