I was having issues with the standard power socket on the bike as the canbus system doesn’t like anything over about 5amps. Would have been easy to fit but the wires are way too short, so not fitted where I’d originally wanted it. I have now placed an order for the DIN one I have noticed there is place next to the original socket which is closer to the battery.

Bought this kit and hook it up to the battery and place the other end under the seat and double side taped it down. Came with a holder attached. Do not need to purchase additional holder (which i did). I did not install any fuse that came along with it yet. Working fine now.

Very well made piece of kit. Took me minutes to fit it and sits neatly tucked away on the upper fairing of the bike. Good length of electrical cable and all connection look secure. Still to try it in the rain.

Good bit of kit, I didn't fit it where they suggested instead I fitted it under the seat between the battery and the rear suspension mount still using the cable ties supplied. That way no one can use the power without removing the seat first.
