I brought this fender extender as it was the only one I could find that didn’t need you to drill holes in the bike’s fender. It’s easy to fit as per the instructions. You don’t need to remove the wheel or the fender off the bike and It slides into place with a bit of a wiggle. The retaining screws and clips are a bit fiddly initially to get started, when they’re tightened up they hold the extender in place firmly with no problem… I wish they made this for other makes n models as it’s a cracking retention system. Well worth the money to keep the road crud off the engine casing in the wet weather.

Perfect fitment with clever, simple screw clamps holding the extender securely in place. Gives a very useful extra 150mm to the length of the mudguard and is flared for extra width providing great protection to the front of the engine. Expensive but worth it. Just a pity that BMW prioritise form over function when designing mudguards.

Brilliant - fits as easily as the older model for the <2021 RT and keeps the %&!$ off the front of the bike just as well if not better. I didn't compare them but it seems to me that the new one is even deeper and more effective. Very happy.

This was the first aftermarket purchase for my first BMW.
I've ridden the first 600 miles in biblical amounts of rain and standing water. Being a new bike I ended up cleaning it every single day! I noticed the engine block getting splatted with sticky stuff which would bake on.
I did a bit of research and found that the MAMO Avant guard was widely considered to be the best option. I easily found the correct product on Nippy Normans and was happy with the delivery.
Fitting took a few minutes. It's a tight squeeze but ultimately fits perfectly and I'm confident it will stay in place. Clearance on full lock is absolutely fine.
The rain's barely eased up but now all I'm left with is a grubby exhaust and shaft drive. The fender extender does exactly what I'd hoped and I'd recommend to anyone.

Yes this is a little pricey, however it fits like a glove, fits very securely and without having to damage/modify your bike. It takes less than 5 minutes to fit and once fitted looks like it's an OEM part of the bike. It should be cheaper, but i am very pleased with it. The product is 5 star, but i've given 4 overall due to it's excessive cost.

Bought the fender extender for the latest model of the RT1250.
Many sellers are selling an incorrect product but not NN they can be trusted to have the right stuff.
Fitted very easily with 2 screws in under 2 minutes and dies the job exactly as it should.

This fender extender is really easy to fit and no drilling or glueing needed. It's just the right length to stop all the road dirt splattering on the front of the engine block and stop those inevitable stone chips. I definitely recommend this part.
