I have an aftermarket LED tail light from nippy's (Horning brand I think) but the 4 white led lights for the number plate light had failed. To be fair the led unit had about 10 years service (initially in an air cooled R1200GS). The LED were old school ones not SMD so I suspect the LED prongs had vibrated loose. I stuck this on top and used Posi-taps to having into the wiring loom. All good - very reliable. I think the price is a little steep considering an apparently identical unit can be had for less from eBay...but then again you wouldn't get the nippy customer service.
