Thoroughly recommended. These header pipes give a noticeable improvement, to the mid range power/torque and throttle response. Nice improvement in exhaust note too (without being offensively loud). They are very well made and fitted the bike perfectly. The pipes come with clear and comprehensive fitting instructions and were simple to fit. A couple of points to mention, contrary to the description they do not retain the exhaust valve. What is retained, on the bike, is the exhaust valve control servo, which prevents an engine fault warning being displayed. Also these pipes do not come with the cylinder head exhaust seals/gaskets, which ARE required. Overall, they are well worth the money.

Lighter and more aesthetically pleasing than the original, easy to fit (if mechanically minded) mated with my already purchased Remus tailpipe sounds sweet! Seems to have released a few more horses. A little popping and banging on the overrun on rare occasions on the whole - very pleased, thank you Akrapovic for a nice product.

I had the Akroprovic end can fitted when I bought the bike, and removed the baffle, which sounded good and gave a minimal increase in power. Decided to fit the downpipes and collectors which remove the cat. The bike now sounds amazing, almost too loud but not quite, the baffle could be put back in if necessary. The bike definitely feels more responsive, I would recommend this to anyone, particularly if yo are spending £700+ on an end can, you might as well finish the job. Now thinking that an airfilter upgrade may be worthwhile too.
